Urge Governor Newsom to Let our Small Businesses Resume Indoor Operations!

As of Tuesday, August 18, 2020, San Diego County was removed from the state’s County Monitoring List. While schools can open within two weeks of that date as long as the County stays off this list, local businesses remain without direction as to when they can hope to resume normal indoor operations.

We have been informed by our County that “For now, all current restrictions on businesses or other activities, including those required to operate outdoors, remain in place. The restrictions will continue even after the 14-day period unless the state provides additional guidance”.

Please join the Oceanside Chamber in urging the Governor to provide direction to our County that will facilitate the expeditious re-opening of indoor operations for our gyms, salons, churches, personal services and other businesses that have been impacted by this latest round of closures.
