Illinois: Urge Sen to Oppose SB 1966

NRA State and Local

The Illinois General Assembly will reconvene for a Veto Session on October 28th and gun control legislation may move quickly. Anti-gun legislators are not giving up in their attempt to pass Senate Bill 1966 to criminalize private firearm transfers and unnecessarily increase the cost and red tape for a FOID. SB 1966 previously passed the House, so it is critical that the Senate votes it down in this Veto Session.  Please contact your state Senator and urge them to OPPOSE SB 1966.
