VNGA, VAAENGA calls on Soldiers and Airmen, Officers and Enlsited, to contact elected representatives to support an amendment granting free admittance to state parks

RICHMOND, Va. -- The Virginia National Guard Association and the Virginia Army/Air Enlisted National Guard Association call on all members of the Virginia National Guard, retirees, friends and families to contact their elected representatives and tell them to support an amendment granting free admittance to Virginia State Parks

The Virginia National Guard has supported an unprecedented number of domestic missions; supporting law enforcement maintain peace and security of property during times of civil unrest, severe weather affecting countless Virginians and their homes, and assisting health professionals manage the COVID-19 pandemic through training, equiping and testing. Obtaining access to state parks support Soldiers and Airmen meet readiness requiremetns which directly impact the readiness and deployability of the Virginia National Guard.

The VNGA and VAAENGA are the largest advocacy organizations for the Virginia National Guard. Their mission is to  be the leading advocates for members and families of the Virginia National Guard by pursing and securing the most effective benefits and resources to help promote world-class service in support of our communities, commonweath and nation.
