The Arc of Virginia is a membership organization made up of people with developmental disabilities, families of people with developmental disabilities, and Allies and Partners, who are fighting to build a world where everyone is included and belongs, and has access to A Life Like Yours. A Life Like Yours (ALLY) is a term we use to remind us all, that all people want and deserve the same things.
The Arc of Virginia serves as a connector between individuals, families, partners and organizations, who are all working to ensure that Virginia has a DD System that is driven by people with developmental disabilities and their families, and ensures that people have the supports needed to live the life that they choose. Together we are all the DD Advocacy Community that builds a Legislative and Public Policy Agenda to effect positive change.
