Fully Fund Tuition Assistance
VNGA, VAANGEA calls on Soldiers and Airmen, Officers and Enlisted, to contact elected representatives to support a budget amendment which fully funds tuition assistance
RICHMOND, Va. -- The Virginia National Guard Association and the Virginia Army/Air National Guard Enlisted Association call on all members of the Virginia National Guard, retirees, friends and families to contact their elected representatives and tell them to support Budget Amendment 469 #1s.

The median cost of tuition at Virginia colleges and universities is estimated at $12,545 per year for tuition and fees. Currenly, the Virginia National Guard's State Tuition Assistance Program is funded at $3,028,382, which allows on 450 Soldiers and Airmen to recieve partial tuition assistance. If approved, the increase would allow for up to 500 Soldiers or Airmen to take full advantage of the benefit.
