Support Kentucky Energy Choice

Throughout 2020, an increasing number of jurisdictions proposed and even passed new “decarbonization” initiatives that will severely limit – or even ban – natural gas in new commercial and residential construction. Legislation was recently introduced in the Kentucky state legislature that would preserve fuel choice for all Kentuckians. House Bill 207 will prohibit any county or city from restricting or banning the use of any type of utility throughout the state of Kentucky including natural gas and propane.

This bill recently passed the Kentucky House of Representatives on February 23, 2021 with a sweeping vote of 71-23. Although we believe this will likely pass the Senate, reaching out to your State Senator will increase its chances.

NOW is the time to take action! Send an email to your State Senator urging them to vote YES on HB 207 to protect your business and customers from any unnecessary regulations.
