Our Legislators Must Give Vaccine Passports the BOOT!
How did we get to the point that participation in LIFE should be dependent on the use of an untested, liability-free medical procedure? As life has already returned to normal in many parts of the country and the world without the aid of Covid-19 vaccines or vaccine passports, this push to segregate, discriminate, and perpetuate an unfounded fear with the use of vaccine passports should be discontinued and in no way encouraged by government or industry. Vaccine passports are an incredible threat to every American’s life, liberty, pursuit of happiness, and they are unconstitutional, unethical, and unnecessary.
Americans have worked hard to stamp out discrimination and inequality, and yet vaccine passports would automatically create a two-tier society, divided into the vaccinated, who could travel freely, & the un-vaccinated – whose travel privileges are revoked. Think about what that means for social and legal equality and the future and stability of an avowedly democratic society.
Current Covid-19 vaccines are issued under Emergency Use Authorization - by law, individuals can refuse their use. These drugs come with clear warnings and risks which must be taken into account with a personalized approach to medicine. To withhold goods, services, and travel for not participating in a medical procedure is coercion and a clear human rights violation.
Louisiana, send a message to your STATE and FEDERAL legislators today that vaccine passports are not welcome in any country founded on FREEDOM. Any private medical information that could be used against citizens to incentivize, monetize, or in any way prevent travel, movement, or commerce does not belong in the hands of the government.
