Earlier this week, SJ 1, the Right to Vote constitutional amendment, was passed by indefinitely in a House Privileges & Elections subcommittee by six lawmakers, despite strong bipartisan support and no opposition at all during the hearing.

Six lawmakers are blocking a concerted effort to put this important constitutional amendment on the November ballot for Virginia voters to decide. Luckily, we still have time urge these six lawmakers to reconsider their vote so that we can get SJ1 on the ballot.

Take action now by contacting members of the House Privileges and Elections Subcommittee to reconsider their vote so SJ1 can be brought to the full committee for a vote this Friday!
