Advocate for the disarmament of the IRS!

HR 8762 is a simple bill, but it jumps straight to the point.

Ban the IRS from training, using, or purchasing arms or ammunition.

It accomplishes this in a few simple lines, so short in fact that we will include them here.

"A BILL

To restrict the possession, use, and acquisition of firearms and ammunition by the Internal Revenue Service.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. RESTRICTION ON POSSESSION, USE, AND ACQUISITION OF FIREARMS AND AMMUNITION BY THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE

(a) Restriction On Possession And Use Of Firearms.—Any officer or employee of the Internal Revenue Service hired after the date of the enactment of this Act—

(1) shall not be in possession of a firearm while performing official duties, and
(2) shall not receive training in use of a firearm in connection with such duties.

(b) Prohibition On Acquisition Of Firearms And Ammunition.—The Internal Revenue Service shall not, after the date of the enactment of this Act, acquire any firearm or ammunition."

That's it.

Simple, easy to read, and nothing is hidden in walls of text or legal jargon.

An armed IRS begs the question, just who are these federal bureaucrats wanting to battle? Legal power was not enough for them, now they are amassing real firepower.

The only thing worse than a tax collector is an armed one.

It’s time that this is put to an end.
