The empty fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square has been abused by left-wingers for decades, placing a succession of weird, strange and bizarre modern "art" works on it.
These include an enormous ice cream with a fly on it and a huge thumbs up made out of bronze.
These acts of left-wing vandalism look completely out of place among the square's historical statues.
There is currently only one statue of Queen Elizabeth II in the whole of the UK, which was erected in Windsor Great Park in 2002 to mark the Golden Jubilee.
We have launched a complaints drive to Members of Parliament calling for the empty fourth plinth at Trafalgar Square to be used for a permanent statue of Queen Elizabeth II.
