The regulations in SB1 could force our smallest communities to surrender their water rights

SB1 is the Regional Water System Resiliency bill that could force the removal of water rights from our smaller communities.

New Mexico's smaller cities and towns are often underserved and put at a disadvantage by government agencies that promote and facilitate regionalization, transfer of ownership, and transfer of responsibility for these important rights.
