Stop the 14 Day Firearm Waiting Period!

Tell legislators that you’re opposed to arbitrary and dangerous waiting periods, and they should protect your gun rights and your personal property by voting NO on SB 427.

Senate Bill 427 will establish a 14-day waiting period before completing a firearm sale. The bill modifies the existing New Mexico “Universal Background Check” law. The penalty is a misdemeanor which provides for up to 12 months in jail and $1,000 in fines. It is similar to HB100 in imposing 14-day waiting periods but uses different language.

We can stop this bill before it becomes law, but we need every New Mexican who values the Second Amendment to speak out. Fill out the form provided to tell lawmakers to stop SB 427. Act now before it’s too late!
