Safeguard our elections and voting systems!

Since 2013’s initial investment with Dominion, we have seen an exponential rise in the cost of operating their system. We send millions of dollars each year to a company that is registered on the Secretary of States' website as a foreign-profit corporation.

Dominion is requesting an “upgrade" to a system that “supports the Rank Choice Voting Method” for all counties. The voting machines combine optical scanners and printers that can mark your ballot.

There are many questionable operations and connections these machines can perform. In a recent Times article, the company is basically in a death spiral so why would we send them more money knowing of their imminent collapse?

We have 1,375.863 voters in the state. During 2022 only 52% of the voters turned out, that is 711,556 people. In 2022 alone, the State of New Mexico paid Dominion over 1.4 million dollars. So far in the Fiscal Year 2023, the Secretary of State has paid Dominion $1,215,241.12 and this isn’t even considered a general election year. In the last 5 years, New Mexico taxpayers have sent 9.9 million dollars to Dominion for a system that continues to cost more and more to maintain and update.
