Support the Preventing Adverse Childhood Experiences Act

Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) are preventable and having strategies in place, before a traumatic event, can dramatically reduce negative effects. Prevention remains the single most cost- effective approach to minimizing the impact of ACEs and its lifelong health impacts. Investing in prevention reduces the cost of interventions and treatment later in life and promotes healthy outcomes for children.

Preventing Adverse Childhood Experiences (PACE) Act will provide critical investments in the primary prevention of ACEs and their related negative outcomes. The PACE Act would authorize grants to public health entities for the prevention of negative events during childhood like violence, abuse or neglect.
