Protect Victims of Crime

Tell the California Legislature to invest $200 million in ongoing funding to backfill federal VOCA funds.

Due to ongoing federal instability the state's victim service providers are at risk of devastating funding cuts. We urge you to include life-saving funding to prevent these cuts from occurring and provide ongoing stability to crime victim services.

VOCA is at the center of the state's response to supporting victims of crime and these cuts will impact programs serving victims of child abuse, elder abuse, human trafficking, domestic violence, sexual assault, and more. These programs provide counseling, housing services, crisis response, and direct legal services, along with a range of other responses to address trauma and support their healing.

Take action now and make your support for VOCA funding heard by Governor Newsom and the California Legislature.
