School and public libraries should be safe spaces for children. But in many communities, that's no longer the case.

Astonishingly, more than fifty school and community libraries across Idaho make pornography available to minor children, according to a report published last year by Idaho Family Policy Center.

The Children’s School and Library Protection Act – which largely utilizes model bill language drafted by Idaho Family Policy Center – would address this issue by requiring school and community libraries to restrict children's access to obscene materials. That said, conservative Christians should support any bill that is both constitutionally defensible and gives parents recourse to hold schools and libraries accountable.

Let’s make it clear that protecting children from pornographic library books is a no-brainer! Sign our petition asking the Idaho Legislature and Gov. Brad Little to support this critical legislative reform.
