Vote Yes on HB1895!

HB 1895, the Underage Abortion Trafficking Act (see explanation below), passed the House Health Committee on 2/21/24 and was referred to the House Finance, Ways and Means Subcommittee because there is a fiscal note attached to it. 

In order to avoid this large fiscal note that would make passage of this bill more difficult, the bill sponsor, Representative Jason Zachary will present an amendment in the subcommittee to change the punishment for violation of the Underage Abortion Trafficking Act from a felony with possible jail time, to a misdemeanor with mandatory jail time of 11 months and 29 days.
