Urge Costco Leadership to Protect Our Values – Say No to Abortion Drug Mifepristone

Dear Members,

As members of the AMAC community that upholds conservative values, your voice is powerful, and it's time to make it heard. Costco, a company many of us support, is reportedly considering allowing the abortion drug mifepristone to be sold in their pharmacies. This is a critical moment to stand up for our principles and ensure that Costco stays true to the values we believe in by demanding that Costco not sell this controversial drug.

Turning retail stores into dispensaries for abortion drugs would be a dangerous decision that would risk the health of pregnant mothers and take innocent unborn lives. According to the FDA, 1 in 25 women must go to the emergency room after taking mifepristone with 7 percent of women who take abortion pills needing surgery. 14 states already prohibit the use of mifepristone. Additionally, three states are currently challenging the legality of mifepristone, with more likely to follow.

We are urging you to take action by directly emailing Ron Vachris, CEO of Costco, Richard Stephens, Senior VP of Pharmacy, and Corporate Secretary, John Sullivan. These are the individuals who have the power to stop the sale of mifepristone at Costco. Let them know that this decision not only impacts health and safety but also risks tarnishing Costco’s reputation by entangling the company in divisive political issues.
