Fund Fargo Needs, Not Wants
The current Fargo budget proposal calls for an 11% increase in the city budget — $13 million in new money!
Tell the Fargo City Commission to keep spending increases to the rate of inflation before they vote on Monday, September 30.
FUND NEEDS:
- Public safety
- Streets
- Water infrastructure
- Snow removal
NOT WANTS:
- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion ($300,000 and 2 full-time employees)
- Bloated Communications Department ($2 million and 12 full-time employees)
- Public health spending and the Downtown Engagement Center ($15 million and 144 employees)
Act now! The Fargo City Commission will vote on the final budget at their regular meeting on Monday, September 30, 2024.
