Our State Election Board (SEB) is meeting on Friday, Sept. 20, 2024, to vote on new rules (processes and procedures) for county election officials to implement prior to the November 2024 general election. These rules are critical to strengthening security and enhancing transparency during the upcoming election.

Contrary to what you may have heard in the media, the new rules are completely consistent with and subordinate to current Georgia law. Georgia’s legislative counsel will have vetted all the rules prior to the SEB vote to ensure they are consistent with the law.

These new rules do not impact the voters’ experience whatsoever and they have minimal impact on the election officials and poll workers.

Each of these rules should be important to anyone seriously concerned about election security and transparency.

The SEB members need to hear from you! Please take part in our campaign to contact them prior to 5:00 pm on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2024.
