ALERT: Thank Gov. Little for Christian History Proclamation

On the Friday directly preceding Thanksgiving, Gov. Brad Little issued a proclamation officially designating Nov. 24-30, 2024, as Christian History Week:

WHEREAS, the importance of our Christian history to the traditions and values of Idaho is immeasurable; and

WHEREAS, the Christian history of our nation is recognized in the writings and accomplishments of our citizens and in public documents and utterances; and

WHEREAS, our community churches serve a significant function in binding citizens together and providing crucial education and charitable services; and

WHEREAS, as we observe this special time of year, it is appropriate to recognize that Thanksgiving provides a specific time and reason for celebrating Christian history.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, BRAD LITTLE, Governor of the State of Idaho, do hereby proclaim November 24-30, 2024, to be CHRISTIAN HISTORY WEEK in Idaho, and I encourage Idaho citizens to recognize this special observance.

We’re grateful that Gov. Little has boldly proclaimed the undeniable influence of Christianity on the governmental institutions and culture of our nation.

Here’s the thing: Gov. Little will no doubt take flak for issuing this proclamation. With that in mind, please take a moment to thank Gov. Little for his leadership by sending a message of support.
