Support the Referral Enlistment Program

Your voice matters! We urge you to take a stand in support of Senate Bill 767 and House Bill 1752, which address crucial changes to the Virginia National Guard's Referral Enlistment Program, or REP. As a concerned constituent, your advocacy can make a real difference for our Virginia National Guard Soldiers and Airmen. This bill increases state funding for the program from $50,000 to $250,000.

The REP has been an incredibly effective tool for boosting recruitment by encouraging Virginians—including current Soldiers, Airmen, alumni, and Families—to help generate recruiting leads. This method is far more successful than traditional marketing, and it helps reach individuals who might not otherwise know about the opportunities to serve.

Over the last two years, the REP has surpassed its budget in just a few months, proving there is high demand for this program. Increasing the program's annual funding ensures the program continues to grow and remains a vital part of strengthening the Virginia National Guard.

Please take a moment to contact your legislator and express your endorsement for these bills. Your commitment to our community's well-being is invaluable, and your action can make a positive impact on this important issue.
