Please share a story about how libraries have a positive impact in YOUR community. This might be a story about you or your family, or about other library users who have benefitted from the library’s services. If possible, the story should illustrate how libraries advance current priorities in your community, such as literacy, school success, employment and workforce development, disaster recovery, services for veterans, etc. Then tell your elected officials that federal funding helps libraries to deliver their essential services, and ask them to protect funding for the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
