Help Children Everywhere Thrive

UPDATE: The Thrive Act has become law! Thank you for advocating with us on this issue, but this action is no longer available. To find other ways to advocate for children around the world, go to https://www.worldvisionadvocacy.org/issues/

Roughly 250 million children are unable to reach their God-given potential due to inadequate nutrition, education, or care or because of exposure to violence or conflict. When children miss out on a solid foundation at the beginning of their lives, it can ultimately perpetuate cycles of poverty and hardships.

It’s time to focus U.S. foreign assistance efforts to vulnerable populations and ensure that evidence-based approaches are being utilized to provide vulnerable children with the best possible start.  The Global Child Thrive Act would do just that.

The Global Child Thrive Act (S. 2715/H.R. 4864), introduced by Senators Roy Blunt (R-MO) and Chris Coons (D-DE) in the Senate, and Representatives Joaquin Castro (D-TX) and Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA) in House, aims to give children the best possible start by integrating early childhood development interventions into current foreign assistance programs serving vulnerable children and their families.

Act today: Ask your legislators to help give children everywhere a solid foundation and the chance to thrive by co-sponsoring the Global Child Thrive Act.
