Protect Funding for Children & Families in Central America

World Vision

In April, the White House announced plans to cut U.S. foreign assistance to El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras – a plan that would threaten progress in addressing the root causes of migration, including poverty and violence. But now a bipartisan bill has been introduced to ensure that foreign assistance programs and the work of international development organizations like World Vision can continue to address poverty and violence in the region.

All children deserve a life free from fear, where they have hope for their future and where they feel cared for and protected in a loving family environment. World Vision’s programs, some of which are funded via the U.S. government, use evidence-based approaches to create this environment, and represent a long-term, sustainable strategy for addressing irregular migration.

TAKE ACTION: Ask your Representative to address poverty, violence, and irregular migration sustainably by supporting H.R. 2615.
