Urge State Lawmakers to Waive Interest Fees on Tax Payments
We are requesting the North Carolina General Assembly take legislative action and waive interest on tax payments made after April 15th. Filing and payment deadlines have been extended to July 15, 2020, but interest fees still stand and must also be amended in light of the circumstances COVID-19 has presented to taxpayers and practitioners alike.
