Take Action Today to Stop Policies that Put our Businesses at Risk!
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is very concerned about the City Council’s Draft Emergency Ordinance: Citywide Worker Retention Policy, which would add the following Articles to the City's Municiple Code:
- Article 4-72J-A Recall of Laid Off Workers due to COVID-19;
- Article 4-72J-B: Requiring compliance with citywide worker retention provisions applicable even if a businesses changes ownership
The Chamber believes that these proposed articles will place an undue burden on businesses and residents of the City of Los Angeles.
