Support NFP Nurses continuing to serve new moms and families!

Nurse-Family Partnership nurses are a crucial part of the COVID-19 support for new mothers and their families. They are working through the pandemic to support these families but they need flexibility and resources to stay connected remotely and deliver emergency supplies.

Although the House of Representatives included funds for $100 million MIECHV in the HEROES Act, we were disappointed to see the Senate did not include emergency funding for the MIECHV program in the HEALS Act. It is critical that NFP nurses have the funding and flexibility to use dollars on an emergency basis to meet a range of needs for families, including phones or tablets, formula, diapers, etc.

As Congress finalizes this COVID-19 response bill, ask your Senators to provide NFP Nurses with the funding and flexibility they need to reach families in need.
