Be an Energy Voter. Support Louisiana’s Future.

For 100 years and counting, the oil and natural gas industry has been vital to the economic growth of Louisiana. The energy industry is part of the fabric of our state. We have the power to ensure it stays that way for generations to come.

Now, more than ever, we must elect energy champions who understand our industry and believe in our working coast, both at the State Capitol and in our parishes.

This year, billions in energy investments are on the line – transformational funding for our local economies and our families. It’s a down payment on Louisiana’s unmatched energy potential. Political decisions will determine whether these projects come to our state or if Louisiana is once again left behind.

Louisiana can create reliable and affordable energy to fuel the world if we act now.

But where there is opportunity, there are also opportunists. Senseless coastal lawsuits discourage energy investments in Louisiana and have been exposed [1] as get-rich-quick schemes for trial lawyers while not contributing a penny to our coast. The longer these lawsuits continue, the greater threat [2] they pose to the future of our state. They have already cost Louisianans thousands of jobs and millions in lost wages.

This election we have a choice. Vote for candidates who stand for the future of energy, with oil and natural gas workers, and against opportunistic lawsuits that exploit our industry.

Talk to the people who ask for your vote. Tell them that energy workers are proud of the work they do and the future they’re building here at home. Louisiana’s energy future is bright. We want candidates who will grow our industry and say no to trial-lawyer led lawsuits. Elect leaders smart enough to let it shine.

Pledge to be an energy voter today!
