But now a bipartisan bill has been passed by the House of Representatives to ensure that foreign assistance programs and the work of international development organizations like World Vision can continue to address poverty and violence in the region.
All children deserve a life free from fear, where they have hope for their future and where they feel cared for and protected in a loving family environment. World Vision’s programs, some of which are funded via the U.S. government, use evidence-based approaches to create this environment, and represent a long-term, sustainable strategy for addressing irregular migration.
