Tennessee Right to Life seeks to ensure that women who are prescribed the abortion pill are given information about the abortion pill reversal protocol.
House Bill 2568 sponsored by Rep. Jeremy Faison (R-Cosby) would require abortion facilities to display signage informing women that a chemical abortion may be reversed following the first dose of a two-pill protocol and requires a physician to provide the same information during informed consent, 48 hours prior to the abortion.
House Bill 2568 is scheduled for a vote by the Tennessee House of Representatives on Monday, June 1 during the 5:00 pm CDT session. UPDATE: House Bill 2568 passes the Tennessee House 71-22-1.
