Reducing Vehicle Registration Fees for Guardsmen

VNGA, VAAENGA calls on Soldiers and Airmen, Officers and Enlsited, to contact elected representatives to support an amendment reducing vehicle registration fees

RICHMOND, Va. -- The Virginia National Guard Association and the Virginia Army/Air National Guard Enlisted Association call on all members of the Virginia National Guard, retirees, friends and families to contact their elected representatives and tell them to support House Bill 2261.

The Virginia National Guard has supported an unprecedented number of domestic missions; supporting law enforcement maintain peace and security of property during times of civil unrest, severe weather affecting countless Virginians and their homes, and assisting health professionals manage the COVID-19 pandemic through training, equipping and testing. Vehicle registration fees should be reduced to support servicemembers travelling across Virginia to meet readiness and deployability requirements.
