$1.2 Million for Mentoring- Thank your State Reps!
On April 14th, Chair Aaron Michlewitz and the House Ways and Means Committee released their FY22 budget with $1.2 million for the Mentoring Matching Grants line item.
We are thankful to the Speaker Ron Mariano, House Ways and Means Committee members, and our legislative supporters in the House for their commitment to funding mentoring programs and developmental relationships for young people across the state.
We are especially grateful to Rep. Patricia Duffy of Holyoke for her leadership in securing this increase of $200,000 from last year's budget.
