House Democrats recently passed the Equality Act, a bill which would rewrite civil rights law to include “sexual orientation and gender identity” as protected classes.
If the ‘Equality’ Act passes in the Senate female athletes will be forced to compete against biological males. This will seriously impact their ability to compete for titles, and even for scholarships. Young girls deserve fair competition, and this bill would destroy that opportunity.
Every Senator should recognize that a vote for the ‘Equality’ Act is a vote against women, particularly women and girl athletes, and oppose this legislation.
