At a recent Rose Garden ceremony, Joe Biden announced a number of misguided executive actions that will restrict the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding Americans.
Biden also called on the U.S. Senate to pass a nationwide ban on commonly-owned firearms, so-called “universal background checks,” indefinite government delays for lawful gun buyers, and red flag gun confiscation orders without due process. These oppressive gun control measures are a deliberate attack on law-abiding Americans’ Second Amendment rights.
To make matters worse, Biden announced he would nominate gun control activist and lobbyist David Chipman for Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF). Chipman is a longtime gun control extremist that has called for bans on America’s most popular firearms. He also wants to tax and register gun owners with the federal government. It is clear that if he is confirmed as the next ATF Director, Chipman will use every tool at his disposal to attack the rights of law-abiding American gun owners and implement Joe Biden’s radical gun control agenda.
