OPPOSE the 3D Printed Gun Safety Act!

Senators Edward J. Markey (D-MA) and Robert Menendez (D-NJ), and Congressman Ted Deutch (D-FL) recently  re-introduced the 3D Printed Gun Safety Act (H.R. 4225/S. 2319), legislation that would prohibit the online distribution of blueprints and instructions that allow for the 3D printing of firearms.

Americans home build firearms or 3D print for a host of lawful reasons. Indeed, making firearms at home is an American tradition that predates the United States. This would fundamentally outlaw most forms of 3D printing or home building. All state and federal firearms laws still apply, even if someone builds their own firearms at home. This is simply smoke and mirrors targeting your rights and property.

Technology changes, rights do not. 3D printing is just the modern iteration of an American tradition we should aggressively protect and defend! Take action below to OPPOSE the 3D Printed Gun Safety Act and similar bans by using our easy contact Congress tool on the right side of this page!
