Tell Your Wisconsin State Legislators to Vote Against SB 461

Wisconsin State Senator Jon Erpenbach (D-27) introduced Senate Bill 461 recently, and it is a dream bill for the gun control movement.   This bill, if passed, would increase gun control in the Badger State by doing the following:

*Prohibiting the manufacture, transportation, sale, possession, and carrying of firearms that cannot be detected by metal detectors or airport x-ray machines or scanners. Federal law currently has a comparable prohibition; under this bill, the person would violate state law as well. A person who violates the state prohibition is guilty of a Class G felony.

*Prohibiting the sale, posting, provision, or possession of plans for manufacturing an undetectable firearm. A person who violates the prohibition is guilty of a Class H felony.

*Prohibiting the possession of a frame or a receiver of a firearm that is not marked with a serial number. A person who violates the prohibition is guilty of a Class I felony.

Essentially, they are coming after firearms that could be 3D printed and those that manufacture or possess them. At FPC we understand that while technology changes, rights do not. 3D printing is just the modern iteration of an American tradition we should aggressively protect and defend! Take action TODAY and tell your state legislators to OPPOSE SB 461 and similar future prohibitions by using FPC's convenient tool that allows you directly email your elected officials! We even provide you with a pre-written email that you are encouraged to edit/personalize prior to sending.
