Stop jamming up SB-319!
Thanks to the massive grassroots pressure of the members and supporters of Georgia Gun Owners, Constitutional Carry has passed both chambers of the Georgia legislature!
But because the Senate bill (SB-319) and the House bill (HB-1358) are slightly different in wording, one or the other chambers must have a ‘concurrence’ vote to allow the other’s bill to go to Brian Kemp’s desk for signature.
The Senate’s bill (SB-319) is by far the cleaner bill, and one all gun owners in Georgia would prefer to see signed into law. But for that to happen, the House Public Safety Committee must hold a hearing and vote to move the bill for a Floor vote.
But insiders are telling us that the Speaker of the House, David Ralston, is trying to slow roll SB-319 to death, so gun owners have no option but to take the House’s weaker version of the bill!
The House Public Safety Committee is sitting on SB-319, most likely at his orders!
That’s why you need to IMMEDIATLEY send your pre-written email to David Ralston, and tell him to stop stalling SB-319, and for him tell the House Public Safety Committee to stop toying around with our rights!
