Tell Your Georgia Officials: Hand Count the 2022 General Election!
We are concerned Georgia citizens dedicated to the non-partisan effort to restore and preserve honest, fair, accurate, and transparent elections. We hereby petition that our county elections officials exercise their authority vested in each officer in representing the county’s electors. These officials are granted by their office the authority to immediately plan, prepare, order, and execute a paper ballot hand count to tabulate all ballots immediately following the closing of the polls for the November 8, 2022 General Election.
As duly registered and qualified electors, we hereby exercise our First Amendment constitutional rights to demand that our county elections officials immediately use the authority vested in their office to approve and adopt the Dominion Paper Ballot Hand Count Resolution at a special called Board of Elections meeting as soon as possible, but no later than three days before early voting commences on October 17, 2022.
Said paper ballot hand count must comply with all with all applicable Georgia Statues and State Board of Election Rules and tabulate Election Day, Advance Voting, and Absentee ballots for all votes cast for Gubernatorial, Secretary of State, and U.S. Senate candidates. Trained and certified poll workers under the supervision of the County Elections Superintendent and credentialed election monitors per Official Code of Georgia Annotated (OCGA) §21-2-495 shall be present for conducting the paper ballot hand count.
Voter confidence and election turn-out in Georgia continues to suffer because of concern of perceived and reported irregularities and vulnerabilities using the Dominion Voting System. Use of this system in its standard configuration generates the machine-marked ballots as a uniform method of casting votes. Our concerns regarding the use of the Dominion QR codes and tabulators are well-founded as noted in part under OCGA §21-2-2(7.1); OCGA §21-2-300(a); Curling v. Raffensperger, 493 F. Supp. 3d 1264, 1309 (2020); the Halderman Declaration; the CISA Security Advisory on Dominion Voting Systems issued June 3, 2022; and the September 20, 2022 Fulton County, Pennsylvania lawsuit against Dominion Voting Systems.
We are confident that election officials have authority under OCGA §21-2-70 to assure voters that the Dominion Voting system outcomes reflect the will of the people with this paper ballot hand count.
