Email Your Federal Legislators to Co-Sponsor the Protecting Life on College Campus Act!
U.S. Senator Steve Daines (R-MT) and U.S. Representative Chip Roy (R-TX) introduced the FIRST federal bill inspired by Students for Life Action!
The Protecting Life on College Campus Act would prohibit federal funds from being directed to institutions of higher education that offer abortion procedures and Chemical Abortion Pills to students and faculty. This is especially important now that California has passed and put into effect a law that forces public campuses to distribute dangerous Chemical Abortion pills.
Turning American colleges and universities into abortion vendors serves no educational purpose. In fact, abortion puts women’s lives at risk and creates increased liabilities for schools.
That’s why we are urging federal legislators to support and co-sponsor the Protecting Life on College Campus Act of 2023 to protect vulnerable college women and innocent preborn babies from the violence of abortion.
Nearly 30 women, that we know of, have died after taking the Chemical Abortion Pills. Additionally, 8% of women who take the Chemical Abortion pills require surgery because the pills failed. If not treated, the decaying tissue from the baby will fester in the woman’s womb, leading to infection and death. If students require emergency medical assistance during or after the abortion, including surgical intervention, student health centers are not prepared to provide such care.
There is no legitimate reason for college and university campuses to provide abortions, especially at the expense of fellow students and taxpayers.
Please join us in urging your U.S. Senators and U.S. Representative to co-sponsor the Protecting Life on College Campus Act.
