Ask Congress to Make Home-based Cardiac Rehab Permanent

During the pandemic, Medicare began covering home-based cardiac rehabilitation (HBCR) as part of the Public Health Emergency (PHE).  With the end of the PHE, this coverage is in jeopardy.  While the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services have extended HBCR coverage through December 31, 2024, the fate of HBCR after this time is uncertain.

Bipartisan legislation is pending in the House and Senate that would make HBCR permanent.

Take a moment today to contact your members of Congress and ask them to cosponsor the Sustainable Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Services in the Home Act (H.R. 1406, S. 3021).
