ALERT: Tell Gov. Little to Sign Library Bill!
The Children's School and Library Protection Act (H710) would create statewide policy that prohibits schools and libraries from distributing pornographic materials to minor children.
The bill does not ban any books. Instead, it would simply require schools and libraries to take reasonable steps to restrict children's access to obscene materials as defined by the U.S. Supreme Court.
An investigation recently conducted by Idaho Family Policy Center found that more than fifty-five public schools and/or libraries in nearly thirty cities across the state are currently making pornographic books available to children. This is a widespread problem that must be addressed.
Send an email asking Gov. Brad Little to sign the Children's School and Library Protection Act so we can solve the library porn issue once-and-for-all!
