On October 3, 2024, Tina Peters, former Clerk and Recorder for Mesa County, Colorado, was sentenced to 9 years in prison by Judge Matthew Barrett in an unprecedented incarceration of a 69-year-old Gold Star mother and grandmother who had not been convicted of any other crime and has filed an appeal for a non-violent conviction.
She was shackled in the courtroom and taken directly to jail from her sentencing hearing. This is unthinkable and unjust. The appeal can take 2-3 years to be heard, while in the meantime she was denied bond pending that appeal for no good reason. Colorado’s unethical prosecution and imprisonment of former Clerk Peters has become a national spectacle of political persecution.
The forensic analysis performed on the Colorado voting system confirms findings of Dominion forensic analysis reports in three other states. All clearly show that the voting system is not secure, is uncertifiable according to original EAC standards and is unfit for use by Colorado voters. Tina has been victimized by an unethical prosecution just for exposing these problems.
