No Government Gun Lockup!
As my representative in Austin, I want you to vote HECK NO on H.B. 185, the mandatory gun lockup.
This legislation is absolutely ridiculous. Gun owners are the single most responsible group of citizens there are in America and especially right here in Texas. To act like we're children who need to be told to put our toys away is worse than insulting.
This legislation is stupid, insulting and UNconstitutional and I insist you OPPOSE it and vote no at every opportunity, whether in committee or on the floor.
The American Firearms Association will let me know what you do either way.
STOP, BLOCK and OPPOSE H.B. 185!
H.B. 185 attempts to force me to comply with government requirements for how I store my guns.
Since this bill is stupid and makes no sense to me, please tell me exactly how this law would work. Are government agents going to enter my home and check on my guns to see if they're in compliance?
This law is completely absurd on the face of it and completely violates my rights laid out plainly in the Bill of Rights.
I want you to fight H.B. 185 with everything you have and make sure that bill gets shut down hard.
The American Firearms Association will be sure to tell me how you react to this.
You want to mandate what?
I don't need to be told how to store my firearms and I certainly don't need to be threatened by my government in order to responsibly care for my own property.
H.B. 185 is a total attempt at Government overreach.
This is Texas. We don't need or appreciate a nanny state and I want you to do your job and FIGHT against this garbage legislation.
Everybody knows, when seconds count and EVERY gun is under government ordered lock and key, it can cost you your life.
Oppose H.B. 185 in every step of the process. Speak publicly against it. Texas needs you to stand up.
AFA will make sure I know what you did.
Stand Up and Fight for the 2A!
I want you to do the job you were sent to Austin to do and protect my Second Amendment rights!
H.B. 185 is absurd, unconstitutional, unenforceable and ridiculous.
The very idea that politicians think they can tell the People how they have to store their own possessions shows me that government has grown way out of its bounds.
But politicians still need votes to get back into office.
Oppose this bill, fight this bill, vote no on this bill, H.B. 185.
The American Firearms Association will make sure to tell me how you behave on this.
