Hello, I am a constituent in your district. I am writing to you about beer and wine sales in Maryland. Allowing beer and wine to be sold in chain stores would create jobs, increase tax revenue, and stabilize struggling retailers and attract new stores to the state. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, we need to respond to the new ways that customers prefer to shop, and provide more opportunities for people to run errands without unnecessary extra stops. Hello, I live and vote in your district. I also shop locally and would love the opportunity to have more convenience and safety by shopping for beer and wine in my local grocery, pharmacy, chain or convenience stores. This would be helpful in spurring the Maryland economy by creating jobs as well as increasing tax revenue.
