It's My Only Line of Defense!
In light of the recent Virginia elections, Joe Biden’s handlers realize there is a very good chance that ‘We the People’ are going to take back Congress in the 2022 midterm elections.
That’s why Biden and Pelosi know that they have less than one year to pass their national gun control agenda, be that a ban on the popular AR-15, a national gun registry couched as ‘Universal Background Checks’ or ‘Red Flag Gun Seizure’ laws.
While Biden’s handlers may have a hard time getting the 60 votes they need to pass gun control through the Senate right now, if we see a mass shooting in America in 2022 (God forbid), it’s almost a certainty that moderates in the Senate will cross over and give Chuck Schumer the votes he needs.
After all, when Nancy Pelosi passed her National Gun Registry bill (H.R. 8) in the House of Representatives last year, she was aided by almost a dozen sell-out Republicans! So, there is certainly a threat that gun owners could be betrayed in the Senate, as well.
And with Joe Biden’s Executive Orders taking effect in early 2022, banning pistol braces and requiring all firearms that are built at home using the popular ‘80% lower receivers’ be registered with the federal government, we need the Second Amendment Preservation Act passed in Georgia IMMEDIATELY!
This legislation would effectively block the impact of federal gun control law or Executive Orders here in Georgia by requiring Georgia peace officers to only enforce laws passed by the Georgia legislature where our gun rights are concerned. The idea of states refusing to enforcement federal laws they disagree with is not new.
The left did this to President Trump when he tried to deport violent, illegal aliens. And, for over a decade now, a growing number of states have had their own laws regarding marijuana and have simply refused to enforce federal marijuana laws. Clearly, the Georgia legislature has the right to choose to not enforce Biden’s unconstitutional gun control agenda, too.
As you know, the federal government relies on local authorities to carry out the vast majority of their laws and regulations, and they simply lack the manpower to impose this tyranny on their own.
Of course, some departments in Georgia’s ‘blue’ cities may try to violate SAPA law and order their officers to enforce Biden’s legislation or Executive Orders attacking gun owners. That’s why this SAPA legislation has real teeth built into it.
Should these departments ignore Georgia's SAPA law and enforce Biden’s gun control on Georgia citizens, individual gun owners could take those same departments to civil court for damages.
As one of your constituents, I am writing to urge you to publicly champion and then vote for the Second Amendment Preservation Act to defend us from Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and the radical left.
To be honest, the Georgia General Assembly has done nothing substantive for gun owners for years. I am sick and tired of this inaction. This is an election year, and I want to make sure you know that passing SAPA is my highest priority.
Missouri Did it First, now it's Our Turn!
As a gun owner here I Georgia, I am concerned about Joe Biden’s first Executive orders taking effect in early 2022. These tyrannical Executive Orders will ban pistol braces and force gun owners to register homemade firearms that are built with the popular 80% lower receiver.
Of course, we all know these orders are designed to test the waters, and that there are likely more to come! That’s why Georgia needs the Second Amendment Preservation Act (SAPA)!
SAPA legislation would effectively block the impact of federal gun control law or Executive Orders here in Georgia by requiring Georgia peace officers to only enforce laws passed by the Georgia legislature where our gun rights are concerned.
As you know, the federal government relies on local authorities to carry out the vast majority of their laws and regulations, and they simply lack the manpower to impose this tyranny on their own. With the passing of SAPA legislation, Joe Biden’s handlers would no longer have an enforcement mechanism for the bulk of their gun control agenda.
While liberal media outlets and the radical left in D.C. (and in Atlanta) claim that passing SAPA is not possible, legal, or practical, I wanted to make sure you knew how wrong this was. The truth is that Missouri has already passed SAPA into law, and it has already survived the DOJ’s court challenge.
Missouri’s law declares that state and local authorities can only enforce state law when it comes to their Second Amendment rights. And just like in Missouri, the SAPA legislation being pushed by Georgia Gun Owners has real teeth.
Should a mayor or liberal police department head decide to ignore the state’s SAPA law and enforce federal gun control or executive orders, any state resident can take that agency to civil court for a fine of $50,000 per occurrence!
As your constituent, I am writing to urge you to co-sponsor and vote for this badly needed legislation in 2022. Biden’s Executive Orders are coming soon, so this issue just can’t wait.
To be honest, the Georgia General Assembly has done nothing substantive for gun owners for years. I am sick and tired of this inaction. This is an election year, and I want to make sure you know that passing SAPA is my highest priority.
Our Police Deserve Our Protection!
With Biden’s Executive Orders set to take effect in a matter of weeks, banning pistol braces and forcing gun owners to register their homemade firearms built from 80% lower receivers, it’s clear that Joe Biden will be attacking gun owners via Executive Action for years!
That’s why, as your constituent, I’m asking that you co-sponsor and support the Second Amendment Preservation Act (SAPA), which would protect us from an out-of-control federal government that is bent on destroying my Second Amendment freedoms.
The Second Amendment Preservation Act would nullify the federal government’s unconstitutional gun control agenda, by instructing Georgia police officers to only enforce gun laws that have been passed by the Georgia legislature. The reality is that without Georgia police offers, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer would not have the manpower to enforce their gun control agenda.
In addition to practically every gun owner in Georgia supporting SAPA legislation, I want you to know that the overwhelming majority of front-line police officers love SAPA as well!
You see, if a police officer today refused to enforce Joe Biden’s Executive Orders on gun control, he could immediately lose his job and his livelihood. With the Second Amendment Preservation Act in effect, he would have legal protections to not enforce radical gun control measures.
Police officers in Missouri currently have this protection now that Missouri passed this same legislation last year. Georgia’s police officers and Georgia gun owners deserve the same protections!
As my voice in Atlanta, I hope you fully understand that the Second Amendment Preservation Act is not anti-law enforcement. On the contrary, it is designed to further protect our officers from the consequences of the radical left’s gun control agenda.
That’s why I hope you will co-sponsor and vote for SAPA legislation this year in Atlanta.
To be honest, the Georgia General Assembly has done nothing substantive for gun owners for years. I am sick and tired of this inaction. This is an election year, and I want to make sure you know that passing SAPA is my highest priority.
Georgians Decide What is Best for Georgia, Not Radical Leftists in D.C.!
As Georgia Gun Owners works to pass Second Amendment (SAPA) legislation, anti- gun politicians and leftist media organizations are claiming it’s un-constitutional.
Of course, SAPA legislation does not limit what federal authorities can do here in Georgia.
It simply acknowledges that the Georgia legislature has the authority to tell Georgia cops to only enforce Georgia laws when it comes to firearms, ammunition, and accessories.
And to be clear, there is a large number of Supreme Court rulings that affirm the States’ rights to refuse to comply with federal laws and regulations that the individual state disagrees with.
So, while the left can foam at the mouth all they want, at the end of the day, passing SAPA is entirely constitutional.
Don’t forget how the radical left has used the idea of States’ rights when it suits their agenda!
For four years, President Trump tried to deport violent, illegal aliens from the country. And for four years the political leaders of America’s ‘blue’ cities refused to allow local authorities to aide federal authorities in accomplishing this.
Similarly, while the federal government to this day makes it a crime to possess marijuana in any amount, almost forty states have refused to aid the feds in enforcing that law, instead legalizing it for medical or recreational use.
Clearly, the states have the right to do what is in the best interests of their own citizens.
That’s why, as my elected voice in Atlanta, I am asking you to co-sponsor and vote for the Second Amendment Preservation Act so that gun owners in Georgia can be protected from Joe Biden’s tyrannical gun control agenda.
To be honest, the Georgia General Assembly has done nothing substantive for gun owners for years. I am sick and tired of this inaction. This is an election year, and I want to make sure you know that passing SAPA is my highest priority.
We Need to Fight Back Now!
With Joe Biden’s Executive Orders set to take effect in early 2022, gun owners need the Second Amendment Preservation Act (SAPA) now more than ever!
SAPA legislation would effectively block the impact of federal gun control law or Executive Orders here in Georgia by requiring Georgia peace officers to only enforce laws passed by the Georgia legislature where our gun rights are concerned. The idea of states not assisting in the enforcement of federal laws they disagree with is not new.
The left did this to President Trump when he tried to deport violent, illegal aliens.

That’s why Georgia Gun Owners’ SAPA legislation has real teeth.
Should any department ignore Georgia's SAPA law, individual gun owners could take those agencies to civil court where damages start at $50,000 per occurrence.
While the Fake News media would tell you that this is impractical, un-Constitutional or otherwise un-enforceable, the Supreme Court has upheld this doctrine for hundreds of years under ‘anti-commandeering’ law.
If you’re unfamiliar with these cases, just look at the Supreme Court’s decisions in Prigg v Pennsylvania, New York v United States, Prinz v United States, NFIB v Sebelius, and Murphy v NCAA.
In the end, the Supreme Court has ALWAYS held that the States can best decide what is best for the States.
That’s why, as your constituent, I am writing to urge you to champion, co-sponsor, and vote for SAPA this session, so that Georgians have a line of defense between our freedoms and Joe Biden’s tyrannical gun control agenda!
To be honest, the Georgia General Assembly has done nothing substantive for gun owners for years. I am sick and tired of this inaction. This is an election year, and I want to make sure you know that passing SAPA is my highest priority.
Protecting Our Police is Not a Partisan Issue!

I understand your caucus may be opposed to this legislation, but it is very obvious that the American people, and especially Georgians, do not support the radical left’s gun control agenda at all.
So, you have a choice to make this session. Will you stand up for the rights of law-abiding Georgians and their right to defend themselves and their loved ones against a violent criminal, or will you follow your party’s liberal talking points?
Georgia Gun Owners will keep me informed about the status of this bill, and I hope to see your name listed as a co-sponsor.
