Support Constitutional Carry -- HB 60
As a constituent, voter and supporter of Gun Owners of America, I urge you to support HB 60.
Under House Bill 60, a Utahan will be able to carry virtually any place in the state, without having to beg the government for a permit. This is particularly important at a time when government closures are dragging out that process -- thereby endangering the lives of applicants in threatening situations.
Seventeen states currently recognize that Americans have the right to carry a gun for self-defense without first getting the government's permission to exercise their constitutional rights. These states, not coincidentally, are among the safest in the country.
It's well past time that Utah joined these states and repealed the unreasonable and unconstitutional limits on Utahans' exercise of their Second Amendment rights.
Please support HB 60.
