As a member of the committee standing in the way of my Second Amendment rights, I urge you to publicly support, call for a vote and vote YES on HB227 right away! Gun owners in Ohio have been waiting for decades for the passage of Constitutional Carry law, and in 2020, it passed through committee for the first time in Ohio history. This year alone, Constitutional Carry has passed in FIVE states, bringing the total up to twenty-one states that have removed these infringement from the books. The people of Ohio deserve a full vote on this legislation in the General Assembly, but it isn't going to get there if HB227 does not make it out of your committee. That's why I'm demanding that you listen to the voters who elected your caucus into power and DO YOUR JOBS! I’m tired of waiting, and I’m tired of the political double-talk. I’m tired of listening to politicians blame Ohio Gun Owners and grassroots gun owners for their own refusals to move the bill. Gun owners have consistently delivered big wins for the legislative majorities in Columbus, and now it is time for you to deliver a big win for gun owners. I urge you to immediately do everything you can to support and get a vote on HB227 NOW! Ohio Gun Owners will keep me informed on the status of this legislation throughout the session as well as your actions or inactions.

Can you just do your job and pass Constitutional Carry, HB227? Can you do something right for once? Can you support freedom and liberty? Or would you rather succumb to compromise, defeat, and placation? DO THE RIGHT THING. Pass HB227 as it currently sits.

As a gun voter in Ohio, I am demanding that you not water down HB227 in your committee with your lame substitute bill. Read HB227 - it's fine enough as it is and doesn't need to be tweaked any further! I'll be paying attention, and so will many people that I know.

Pass HB227 from your committee AS IS with no weakening amendments or substitute bills! Gun owners like me are tired of your inaction and lack of forward progress on gun rights in Ohio. It's time to fight back against the Radical Left... NOT APPEASE THEM!

I'm a gun voter and gun rights supporter here in Ohio. I'm sick and tired of seeing political flyers and advertisements from you and your colleagues telling me how 'pro-gun' you are, but when push comes to shove, you cower in fear of the Radical Left and the media. You're not going to win them over because they hate you, they hate freedom, and they hate America. So what's the holdup? We need Constitutional Carry now more than ever before. Not only is Constitutional Carry the right policy and recognizes every citizen's God-given right to keep and bear arms, but it also gives folks like me the ability to protect ourselves and our families without having to beg for government permission first! This is a no-brainer, and I insist that you support it, call for a vote in committee, and actively push this bill through the process! Because if our 'Republican' supermajority doesn't - who will? And besides, maybe next time you or your colleagues come to me with requests for donations or support - maybe I'll just stay on the bleachers and encourage others to do the same! It's very simple. If you won't fight for me or my rights in Columbus, why should I fight for you in my community or grace you or your co-conspirators with my vote? So please call the vote on HB227 IMMEDIATELY! Ohio Gun Owners will be keeping me updated on this bill and on your actions.
