To Catch Election Fraud, HB 531 Needs VOTER-GA "Sunshine Amendments"
After the 2020 General Election the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee collected a tremendous set of convincing facts and evidence indicating election fraud in the election. For example:
* There were massive, inexplicable vote spikes in Fulton, DeKalb and other counties observed during absentee ballot processing for both the 2020 General Election and January 5th Special Elections.
* There is evidence that the Dominion system flipped votes from Donald Trump to Joe Biden in the November 3rd election.
I agree that voter fraud should be addressed. However, to assure me and other Georgia voters that election fraud won't happen again, you must vote to support the VOTER-GA recommended amendments to HB 531 to provide the needed elections transparency prior to the certification of an election:
* Make ballots and ballot images publicly available (per 2019 VOTER-GA SAFE Voting Commission recommendations).
* Make election management system images publicly available by allowing any ten electors to request an image from a county elections director for independent forensic exams.
In addition, Section 26 of the bill that prohibits the Secretary of State from extending certification deadlines to allow for a hand count audit must be removed. This type of audit is critical to ensure the accuracy of the Dominion voting system and would justify an extension if needed.
I will be watching the committee's deliberations closely and will communicate to my concerned neighbors and folks at church whether or not the committee takes action to deal with election fraud by amending HB 531.
Amendments to HB 531 Needed to Catch Election Fraud
After the 2020 General Election the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee and House Government Affairs Committee, chaired by Sen. Ligon and Rep. Blackmon respectively, collected an overwhelming array of convincing facts and evidence indicating election fraud in the election. For example:
1. The Dominion voting systems inexplicably failed to tabulate or operate correctly in several counties during both the November 3rd and January 5th elections.
2. At least four sworn affidavits from 20-year poll managers indicate they handled counterfeit ballots in the November 14th and 15th Fulton County hand count audit. It is possible that tens of thousands are fraudulent based on the samples they personally witnessed.
I approve the committee's efforts to address voter fraud; however, to assure me and other Georgia voters that election fraud won't happen again you must vote YES to the VOTER-GA recommended amendments to HB 531 to provide the needed elections transparency prior to the certification of an election:
* Make ballots and ballot images publicly available (per 2019 VOTER-GA SAFE Voting Commission recommendations).
* Make election management system images publicly available by allowing any ten electors to request an image from a county elections director for independent forensic exams.
In addition, Section 26 of the bill that prohibits the Secretary of State from extending certification deadlines to allow for a hand count audit must be removed. This type of audit is critical to ensure the accuracy of the Dominion voting system and would justify an extension if needed.
I will be watching the committee's deliberations closely and will communicate to my concerned family and neighbors whether or not the committee takes action to deal with election fraud by amending HB 531.
