I am writing to state my opposition to the introduction of a New York State vaccine passport proposed by Governor Cuomo. The Governor of New York should not have the power to mandate any medical treatment as a condition of participation in society. Vaccine passports violate medical privacy and will inevitably lead to discrimination against those who cannot or will not take a COVID vaccine for medical or religious reasons. I do NOT support forced or coerced vaccines of any kind, nor do I support segregation and discrimination based on health status. I urge you to do all that you can to ensure that the proposed vaccine passports are not introduced in New York. I will be calling your office to follow up.

In light of Governor Cuomo’s proposal that New York instate a vaccine passport, I am writing to state my opposition and to ask where you stand on this issue. Vaccine passports violate every American’s right to privacy and will inevitably lead to discrimination against those who cannot or will not take a COVID vaccine for medical or religious reasons. Neither the government nor the private sector should have the power to require proof of vaccination or any medical treatment in order to live daily life. I do NOT support forced or coerced vaccines of any kind, nor do I support segregation and discrimination based on health status. No emergency justifies the loss of bodily autonomy and privacy. I urge you to propose a bill to ensure that vaccine passports cannot be introduced in New York. I will be calling your office to follow up.
